Listen Up is Portland’s first citywide podcast festival. The four-day event, presented by Travel Portland, invites the nations top podcasts to the city to celebrate its unique culture through live storytelling. Podcast pros like NPR host Jesse Thorn and James Beard Award Nominee Dan Pashman are joined by special guests Lance Bangs, Aaron Draplin, Corine Tucker, Bill Oakley, Darcelle XV and others to inspire worldwide listeners to visit Portland for its unique culture, food, drink, cannabis, sexuality, true crime, sports and business.
As the Marketing Manager for the festival, I oversaw all areas of the launch including pre-, intra- and post-event promotion, social media marketing, media outreach, advertising efforts, sponsorship activation, social sweepstakes, targeted d2c marketing efforts and all post-event marketing recaps.
